Qi Sha — Seven Killings in BaZi
Pressure, decisive action and the capacity to work within high-stakes constraints.
Element controlling the Day Master, same polarity
Overview
Qi Sha is the influence relationship with the same polarity as the Day Master. The traditional name, Seven Killings, sounds severe, but in structural terms it describes pressure and authority encountering the Day Master. Discussions often focus on decisiveness, risk, discipline and performance under constraint.
The category is not a prediction of harm, conflict or violence. It should be handled with careful, non-fear-based language. The useful question is how pressure is met and whether it produces focused action, chronic strain or avoidable escalation.
